Supervisor David Chiu has introduced two measures at the Board of Supervisors that may impact our industry by regulating water use in buildings and we need your feedback:
- On-Site Water Reuse for Commercial, Multi-Family and Mixed Use Developments. Click here for the Legislative Digest.
- This ordinance outlines the requirements to obtain a permit to use recycled water.
- Requiring New and Remodeled Buildings That Have Drinking Fountains to Provide Bottle Filling Stations (Drink Tap Ordinance).
- This measure would affect new and existing drinking fountains and would require the addition of a bottle filling station.
